The Lehating mine project will be the only new high grade manganese project which will be under development in the Kalahari. The underground mine to a depth of 260m will produce 50,000 tons per month of 44% Mn saleable product of which the product has been qualified on the Transnet allocation to rail product to the port of Ngqura.
